Joey Bada$$ juggles a new album, a tour, and performing…while defending some of his creative decisions…like working with Chris Brown.
Rap star Pro Era hopped on “TMZ Live” on Thursday to explain why he felt the need to keep angry fans away, he grabbed Breezy to help him sing the hook on his track “Welcome Back.” on the new album “2000”.
As Joey told us…no man is without error, and while he doesn’t condone what happened with Rihannahe considers it an honor to work with CB, of whom he has been a fan since childhood.
The New York-born lyricist also says he gets it, though… his fans are just protective and want him to be non-controversial at all times.
Controversy arrived in Joey’s first-class seat last week, however, when he accuses Delta Airlines damage some of his irreplaceable stage equipment while traveling on his 1999-2000 summer tour.
Although the damage was done, Joey says Delta reps reached out and helped cover the rental costs so he could complete his tour…which ends Thursday night in Los Angeles.
Even if hearing CB sing ain’t your thing, Joey has Nas, Didi, Larry June and more on his ‘2000’ album…and fans raved about his hip hop purity.
