Seth and Joe met on the internet in 2021, when Seth discovered Passage Dillon and Joe were separating. Later that year, Joe held a “Bachelor King” online contest, accepting applications to become Joe’s new boyfriend, and Seth was the lucky winner.
They dated for a few months, but broke up and lost touch. Joe then met fellow inmate John Graham at FMC in Fort Worth.

Joe Exotic Details Relationship With New Fiance, ‘Twilight’-Esque
As noted, Joe and John called he leaves earlier this month… ending their ‘Twilight’-esque relationship. Autumn told us… John quickly ended his relationship with Joe after his release, and almost immediately Joe reconnected with Seth.
We are told that Joe and Seth communicate through letters and talk to each other on the phone every day. Joe says he got back together with Seth because he “took his head out of his own ass” and realized he really loved Seth.
Joe says, “Seth is an amazing human being, he wants the best for me and we understand each other”, … adding that he’s taking this one slowly.
As for seeing each other face to face… Seth hasn’t gotten approval from the prison staff yet, but he plans to see him as soon as he gets the green light.
