Jillian michaels claims tens of thousands of dollars of stuff are MIA after a move across the country, and other items were damaged in what looks like a nightmare experience with a moving company… and now she’s got the cops involved.
The fitness guru left LA for Miami in early June and hired FlatRate Moving and Storage to make it happen.
She told police that many clothes, tools and outdoor furniture were missing – totaling $ 30,000 – and that 80 percent of items arriving in the Sunshine State were damaged due to careless packaging.
Police sources tell us … Jillian filed the report with Miami Gardens Police this week, claiming FlatRate had stored its belongings at its Miami Gardens facility. It is not known whether she is claiming the property was removed from the truck en route or stolen from the storage facility.
Jillian has also brought in a lawyer and plans to take civil action against the movers.
As for the property she claims was stolen … the police are on the case.
We have contacted FlatRate Moving and Storage … so far no word in return.
Our sincere thanks to
