Jason Alexander seemed ready to fight the day of Britney Spearsmarriage, but he threw in the towel Thursday in his criminal trespassing case, pleading some of the charges without contest.
Jason, who was married to Brit for a total of 55 hours in 2004, has been charged with 4 crimes including criminal harassment after breaking into Britney’s home – the site of the wedding last june – and approached the bride, who was in her room. Jason was armed with a knife. He fought off 2 security guards before being overpowered and stopped.
He did not contest two counts – aggravated trespassing and assault, both misdemeanors.
Two charges were dismissed – felony criminal harassment and misdemeanor vandalism.
Alexander was sentenced to 128 days in the Ventura County Jail. He has already served 64 days since his arrest and he will not serve the full balance, which is protocol.
There is a protective order this forces Jason to stay away from Britney until August 11, 2023.
A hearing will be held in November that will determine whether Alexander can possess weapons, including firearms.
