Hero Dad Who Shielded Kids in Shooting Fired from Jobs, Says Wife
The hero dad who was shot to protect his 3 children in a spooky car dealership shootout is on the mend … but he’s out of 2 jobs and his kids are still in shock.
Anthony jeffersonthe wife of, Danica Jefferson, tells TMZ … Anthony is currently unable to walk after being shot in the right thigh earlier this week when a gunman started shooting at a Bronx car dealership.
Danica tells us that due to his inability to walk at the moment … Anthony was fired from his 2 jobs as a head painter at a maintenance and construction company in New York. She was not comfortable naming companies.
Anthony is released from the hospital, but the bullet is still lodged in his leg, and Danica says he will need another operation in the near future. And then there is the trauma of their children.
As you know … Anthony protected her 6, 5 and 2 year old child when the gunshots broke out. Mom says they are reluctant to go out, cry in their sleep and the youngest asks, “Why did the man shoot my daddy?”
They hope to get the children to see a therapist as soon as possible.
A friend of Danica and Anthony set up a GoFundMe page and says the money will be used to fund Anthony’s medical bills and therapy for the little ones. For now, Danica is extremely grateful for her husband’s courage in protecting their children at all costs.
Our sincere thanks to
