Halsey fires back at their former nanny suing the singer for being fired… the singer says the nanny was simply fired for potential danger to Halsey’s child.
Here’s the deal… Halsey’s former nanny, Ashley Funchereportedly sued the singer for disability discrimination and retaliation, claiming she was fired for taking time off work for an emergency medical procedure.
But Halsey doesn’t see things the same way.
A rep for Halsey told TMZ … “These allegations are without merit. This individual’s employment was recently terminated in response to specific incidents in which Halsey’s baby was left unattended in an unsafe location while ‘he was in the care of the nanny, and it was discovered that the nanny was drunk while the child was in her care.
They continue: “Furthermore, at no time during this individual’s tenure at Halsey were any complaints raised. Therefore, while Halsey is both saddened and disappointed by this turn of events, they feel it is important to refute these allegations publicly, they take ableism and ethical working conditions very seriously.”
The case is still ongoing.
