Rapper “FNF” GloRilla maxes out his rookie season with acts of kindness – just ask his alma mater, who just got surprised with a check for $25,000!!!
Glo was back home in Memphis Thursday at Martin Luther King Prep High School where she donated the funds to the school’s fine arts programs in hopes of encouraging more talented acts down the line.
MLK Prep Director Chiquita Pear accepted the check in front of the students and faculty members, and Glo called being able to return a blessing, just like his latest single.
As we reported, Glo’s charity check follows Cardi B too visit his old school playground, where she presented her high school with a check for $100,000 earlier this month.
As fate would have it, the two rap stars are joining forces for Glo’s upcoming single “Tomorrow 2″… which will be released on Friday.
Glo is a top favorite for hip hop’s 2022 Rookie of the Year. His hit “FNF (Let’s Go)” dropped in April and peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100… earning him a cash-filled contract with Yo Gotti who boasted of a $500,000 stipend.
When we last spoke to Glo, she said she was already looking to invest her signing bonus and wasn’t splurging just for the ‘Gram’.
We’d say donating to your old school is a reason to break the bank! Let’s go!!!
Our sincere thanks to
