G-Eazy suffers heartbreak at the highest level, announcing the passing of his mother and sharing a beautiful tribute to his fans.
The rapper, real name Gerald Earl Gillum, says his mother Suzanne passed away saying, “The shock still won’t allow me to accept the feeling that I will never be able to hug you in person again. My queen, my hero, my everything… my mother.”
He continues: “The tears won’t stop. My eyes hurt, my face hurts, my body hurts, everywhere hurts. There is no safe place to hide and there is there is no way to lie down or sit or stand the pain is tremendous but i know you are no longer yours and it brings me peace.
I love you so much.”
It is not yet clear how she died, but fans of G-Eazy do know what an important role she played in her personal life as well as in her career … often attending shows and even events with the rapper.
Then there’s this, G-Eazy reveals his mother recently persuaded him to go to drug and alcohol rehab, writing, “I didn’t realize how worried you were about me until. to send me the most difficult letter I have ever read … Undergoing drug and alcohol treatment was my decision, but it was your letter that finally convinced me.
G-Eazy performed at the BottleRock Festival in September and shared that her mom couldn’t attend, however he called her on FaceTime during her set in a really awesome time.
