Devastating news from Bobby bowden – the legendary Florida state coach just announced he is suffering from a terminal illness … saying he’s “ready for what’s to come”.
Bowden, 91, who won 2 national titles with the Seminoles, spoke about his health on Wednesday.
“I’ve always tried to serve God’s purpose for my life, on and off the pitch, and I’m prepared for what’s to come,” Bowden told the Tallahassee Democrat. “My wife Anne and our family have been life’s greatest blessing. “
Bobby is one of the best coaches of all time – he had over 350 victories as a Seminole coach … and was so good that he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006 when he ‘he was still on the FSU on the sidelines.
Bowden didn’t fully recover from his fear of health last year – he tested positive for COVID-19 while being treated for a skin infection … and spent time in the hospital.
The report says the trainer is currently under surveillance and “is resting comfortably” at his home in Florida.
Current coach of Noles Mike Norvell reacted to the news … saying, “I pray for Coach Bowden and his whole family! An amazing man who is loved by so many and the Nole family is with him.”
