We caught up with French in New York, and Tjay was still on his mind. After all, both won a gold plaque (with blue face) in 2019 for the French song “Slide”.
While French wished Tjay a speedy recovery, he also reinforced the message that rappers have the most “dangerous” jobs and all love can often be thinly veiled hate.
On a positive note, we are told Tjay is out of surgery and start on the road to recovery…a fact that will help French people sleep easier.
He is about to release his new album “Montega” with Harry Frauda new wave of outdoor music endorsed by New York City Mayor Adams himself…who just launched a crackdown on illegal dirt biking in the city.
Illegal dirt bikes and ATVs endanger the lives of New Yorkers. We don’t let them go unchecked.
This year we have already taken almost 2,000 bikes off the street and we are just getting started.

The Frenchman has no problem with the mayor’s tactics on the dirt bike – but, politically, he draws the line on prosecutors using rap lyrics in court cases.
His new lyrics will be released — alongside Jadakis, Quavo, Rick Ross and more – when “Montega” drops on June 24.
