Fred Goldman says the staggering amount that OJ Simpson him owes has now ballooned to $96 million, TMZ Sports has learned.
Goldman has laid it all out in new court documents, in which he seeks renewal of his old judgment against the former NFL star following the death of Fred’s son, Ron Goldman.
You’ll recall that in 1997… OJ was ordered to pay the Goldman family $33.5 million after being found responsible for the 1994 murder of Ron, who died with Nicole Brown Simpson in Brentwood, California.
In 2015, Fred said with interest, OJ owed him $57 million. But, in the new documents, Fred now says the interest has continued to build over the past 7 years and has now reached nearly $97 million.
Fred said OJ only did a handful of relatively low payments over the years … and has previously argued that after Simpson’s release from prison in 2018, he started making money again and should continue to make payments to the Goldman family.
