Australian fashion retailer TEMT announced Monday, May 17, that it would “cease operations” in mid-June 2021.
He did not elaborate on the reasons for the shutdown, but said his Paya Lebar outlet is holding a sale with “big discounts” from yesterday and urged customers to take advantage of the savings.
During its last eight years of operating in Singapore, it closed several other outlets including VivoCity, Somerset, Westgate, Bugis + and Junction 8.
There are only two outlets left here at Paya Lebar Quarter and Jurong Point.
TEMT is part of Fast Future Brands, a retail company that owns fashion brands like TEMT and Valleygirl. According to the company’s LinkedIn page, it has grown rapidly since opening its first store in 1996.
At the end of 2010, it owned 73 TEMT stores and 75 Valleygirl stores. TEMT in particular is well known for its affordable yet trendy quick fashion pieces for women.
