EPF Introduces New Features In i-invest Portal

To help its members make more informed investment decisions, the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) has rolled out new features and tools on its i-Invest portal.

Registered members can now use the portal’s investment simulation tool to evaluate investment decisions by entering the member’s choice of initial investment amount, monthly investment amount, investment period, the rate of return or the final value of the investment.

New features and tools in EPF’s i-invest portal include transactional functions, suitability assessment, useful information on licensed mutual funds and the fund management institutions (MFIs) that offer them. The portal has also incorporated benchmarks assigned by Lipper to members to compare against the performance of unitary trust funds.

For investors who want deeper insight into the performance of their investments, EPF has introduced the Historical Investment Performance Dashboard to allow members to analyze investment performance over different time horizons.

According to EPF, this new feature is the first of its kind in the national fund management industry to provide a display of investment returns based on three key categories to allow comparisons at fund level, IMF level and at country level. overall portfolio.

All of these features are now available on the i-Akaun mobile app, with EPF planning to roll out more new features in the coming months.
