Court documents, obtained by TMZ, show the LA County Superior Court judge approved the 18-year-old’s name change … who is now Viviane Jenna Wilson. Wilson is his mother’s maiden name.
She’s also been granted a gender reassignment… Vivian identifies as female, and the paperwork indicates that a new birth certificate reflecting the gender reassignment will soon be issued by the registrar.
As we reported, Vivian said she reason for change is “the fact that I no longer live or wish to be related to my biological father in any way”.
In December 2020, Elon tweeted his support for the transgender community, but added… “All these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare.”
It’s unclear what’s driving Vivian’s desire to separate from her dad — it appears to be more than this tweet.
Either way, Elon’s ex-wife Justine Wilson said she was proud of Vivian as news of his legal claim broke. Neither mom nor daughter has said anything publicly about Elon yet, but Vivian must be over the moon now that it’s all official.
