Dwayne Haskins‘ body was hit by two vehicles in the accident that claimed his life earlier this month…an accident report, obtained by TMZ Sportsrevealed.
In Florida Highway Patrol documents, investigators say that after Haskins was hit by a dump truck in the middle of a freeway in the early morning hours of April 9 – a Subaru Outback also “partially” hit the Haskins body.
Officials released a diagram of the crash – showing what they believe were the two points where the vehicles hit the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback (labeled NM01 in the image).
In the documents, investigators say a witness told them a third vehicle may also have been involved.
Officials say Haskins succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was pronounced dead just minutes after being struck.
Investigators say the two drivers pulled over shortly after hitting the football player. They also noted in the documents that no drivers had been tested for alcohol or drugs.
Officials in the documents did not reveal why they believe Haskins was walking along the busy freeway before he was hit – a final traffic homicide investigation is still ongoing.
