There is a press all over the field for Duck and Kanye west to make peace, and a key player in the negotiations sparks fans’ hopes with an interesting photo… but TMZ has learned that’s not exactly what it seems.
As you know, Ye did a video plea this week – with the founder of Rap-A-Lot Records J. Prince by his side – for Drake to join him on stage for a liberation support gig Larry hoover. Drake has yet to respond, but Wednesday night Larry Hoover Jr. posted pictures of himself meeting Drizzy and J. Prince.
You understand why people would think Drake is getting closer to acceptance Offer you – and maybe it is – but the photos don’t prove it. This is because LH Jr.’s camp tells TMZ that they were taken away a few months ago.
During the meeting, we were told that they had spoken to Drake about supporting the movement to free Larry Hoover from prison… but it was a long time before Ye extended his offer of unity.
ICYMI, Ye’s plan is for himself and Drizzy to crush their long-standing feud and reunite onstage in LA for a benefit concert on December 7 in honor of Hoover.
If you’re not familiar … Hoover is the former leader of a large Chicago gang, the Gangster Disciples, who was convicted of murder in the 1970s and sentenced to 6 jail terms in perpetuity. Many believe he has done more than enough time for his crime and have pushed for his release.

Like we said, this is a full press to get him involved – but so far, at least, Drake has been silent on the matter. Of course, he’s most likely still in shock. events at Astroworld, where he played with Travis Scott – and he was named as defendant in at least one of the lawsuits filed after the 8 dead and hundreds injured.
