Donald Trump Says He’s Fine, No Apologies for COVID Conduct
Donald trump says he is feeling good and received special treatment at Walter Reed Hospital … as he said – “It’s good to be president”.
The President was interviewed on Fox News Channel by Dr. Marc Siegel, a Fox News contributor who is not on Trump’s medical team.
Trump said he went to the hospital last Friday because he was not feeling strong. He said he had no problem breathing, but didn’t mention it has extra oxygen twice and had a fever. His own chief of staff said Trump’s condition was “of great concern.”
Trump says he’s not on drugs now, but attributes what he says is his return to an experimental drug he received in hospital … a drug he says will sort of be accessible to all free of charge.
He says he listened to his doctors, so amazingly it seems to suggest the doctors thought it was ok for him to take a walk with 2 members of the secret service in a sealed SUV. Trump said he felt it was his obligation to make the trip to see his supporters who were hanging out for 3 days.
And, wow … Trump says one thing he’s learned is that COVID is very contagious. Didn’t he know until now?
Trump said he had a CT scan to test his lungs. All he said was that there was a bit of congestion.
Dr Siegel didn’t ask if there was lung damage, he didn’t ask when the last time Trump tested negative, he didn’t ask Trump to return to the White House and Breathless after going up a flight of stairs, and he didn’t challenge Trump when he said he had no difficulty breathing the day he went to see Walter Reed. He also did not ask if Trump was still COVID positive – VERY RELEVANT because he is hosting a White House event on Saturday as well as attend campaign rallies.
