The Disney Princesses are returning to work in the midst of the pandemic … but they’re not returning to Disneyland … they’re hitting the road doing social distancing gigs for kids.
Here’s how people dressing up as kid’s favorite Disney characters make a living these days … performing 6 yards away and traveling with a social distancing enforcer !!!
Watch this video of a mermaid-themed birthday party in Tustin, California for a 6-year-old Summer … the parents hired Ariel, and she sings behind a velvet cord and hits the notes under a mask.
The “Little Mermaid” was booked by a party company who we believe charges an additional $ 50 for a “remote” staff member. Ariel, by the way, charges $ 135.
Ariel’s coronavirus bodyguard is making sure everyone at the party socially moves away from the mermaid, stepping up distance during everything from song and dance to photo ops.
As we reported … the Disney Princesses and the characters were hit hard at the start of the epidemic, but now it looks like they’ve figured it out and adjusted to the new normal. Oh, and “remote” staff is a classic definition of job creation !!!
This story has a happy ending … we’re told the kids loved Ariel even though it wasn’t a typical party people are used to.
Take that, Rush limbaugh, young people can really adapt to the coronavirus !!!
