Francois Dillon implores everyone to follow in his footsteps and get vaccinated. Yes, it can be a matter of life and death, but also … it can save his job and that of others.
The famous DJ left Erewhon in Los Angeles on Tuesday and we wondered if he had any concerns about the increase in COVID-19 cases – largely because of the Delta variant – and how that might affect his next tour dates.
For starters … hitmaker “GO OFF (Nuthin ‘2 It)” tells us that most of his scheduled gigs are outside. So there, all is well. But, that being said, Dillon also didn’t waste time urging everyone to get vaccinated because, like he said … “I’m trying to get a job.”
He’s not just looking for number one either – Dillon says the vaccination especially helps those in the service sector like waiters and bartenders, whose livelihoods were almost completely lost during the pandemic shutdowns.
He tells us he got the hang of it as soon as he could – and it was that kind of effort that no doubt helped reopen America and allow crowded concerts and restaurants to be a thing again.
We asked him if anti-vaccines were to blame for the upsurge in cases. Dillon wouldn’t go that far, but his message is crystal clear. Get the jab.
