Dijon Kizzee Protest Ends with Cops Firing Rubber Bullets, Pepper Balls
A protest against the death of Dijon Kizzee ended in a confrontation with the cops, as rubber bullets flew and pepper balls exploded.
Hundreds of protesters marched on Saturday, sometimes closing the 110 Freeway. The protest took place in the evening and when the protesters arrived at the LA County Sheriff’s Department, things took a turn.
The deputies put up barriers in the building … some are on the roof with guns.
Right after some protesters yelled obscenities at the MPs, one of the cops threw a flash bang and therefore began to clean the area with rubber bullets and pepper bullets. It looked like a war zone as the demonstrators dispersed.
As we have reported, Dijon was arrested by the cops on August 31 after being arrested for a bicycle violation, although the sheriff’s department did not disclose the nature of the violation. Dijon was shot dead.
