Dana White said the former president Donald trump won’t be able to hide from the spotlight at UFC 264, as he will be right next to the Octagon… where fans can cheer and taunt him loudly.
The big boss of the UFC joined us on Friday on “TMZ Live” to refuel Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier‘s third fight … and, in the process, he’s settled a debate about where Trump will sit on Saturday night in Vegas.
This is the first major sporting event Trump has attended since leaving the White House – and with everything that has happened since he lost the election, it’s a safe bet (even in Vegas) that the ‘ex-prez will hear a lot of boos.
Dana, a longtime Trump supporter, says her friend isn’t the type to hesitate to heckle.
As Dana tells us … Trump “don’t care, he’s not that guy, he’s not hiding in a box somewhere, that’s not his style.” Instead, he says Trump will sit right behind him.
No doubt he will be flanked on all sides by the Secret Service, and Dana says agents have been sweeping T-Mobile Arena for days now to keep Trump safe.
Presidential sideshows aside … the fight itself should be awesome. McGregor and Poirier were talk tons of smack before Saturday’s showdown, and Dana even took a knee in the ribs at Thursday’s press conference.
Looks like he’s doing just fine – potentially record-breaking PPV numbers will do that for you!
