Dak Prescott Discharged from Hospital After ‘Successful’ Ankle Surgery
7:26 am PT – The QB got a warm welcome on their return to their home in Prosper, Texas … with Prescott’s neighbors making a huge sign that read, “Get well soon, your neighbors.”
Dak prescott is now recovering at home after being released from hospital Monday after successful ankle surgery, the Cowboys say.
Prescott, 27, underwent emergency surgery on Sunday night after suffering a fractured and dislocated right ankle while playing for the New York Giants.
The Cowboys called in a doctor Gene Curry at perform the surgery – which involved cleaning the wound and repairing the fracture.
Sources told various media outlets that the operation was a success – and Prescott was released within 24 hours of being admitted.
Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Mike McCarthy told the media his QB was “in a very good mood.”
“I know he’s delighted to come home and start the journey home, as you would expect from Dak, but he’s doing fine.”
There are reports that Dak’s recovery could take between 4 and 6 months – but McCarthy noted, “As I found out in the short time I have here, he’s going to challenge any timeline. “
