Mower center Ivica Zubac‘s The Los Angeles area house was broken into on Friday night … and the 7ft tall tall man interrupted the robbery, TMZ Sports has learned.
Unfortunately, the 2 attackers were able to escape … according to our police sources.
The 24-year-old, 7-foot-tall Croatian hoop player – who averages nearly 10 points and 8 boards per game with LAC – left his home around 8pm Friday night… before returning around midnight.
When he returned to the cradle, Zubac – the Lakers’ 32nd pick in 2016 – noticed that a ladder was placed against his house, leading to a balcony on the second floor.
Ivica then saw two men exit the area, jump a fence and reserve it from the property.
The big man called the police… and the cops answered and emptied the house, making sure there were no more bad guys inside.
We are told that Zubac’s house – which was locked and had a working alarm system – was ransacked and at least one expensive piece of jewelry, a Rolex watch worth over $ 20,000 was missing.
Police are currently investigating.
