Jodi released a statement on Tuesday confirming that she plans to continue supporting Britney in her role as personal curator … unless Britney declares that she wants Jodi to step down. While Brit expressed her displeasure with Jodi… the statement reads: “Mrs. Spears has asked Mrs. Montgomery to continue serving”.
The news comes right on the heels of Britney’s longtime manager, Larry rudolph, resigned after claiming to hear that Britney intended to officially retire. Britney’s lawyer, Sam ingham, is also leave work. Bessemer Trust already has bowed out as co-curator of her domain.
As we reported … Jamie spears handpicked Jodi, Brit’s care manager, to replace him as temporary curator of his person. The judge approved the request in September 2019 after Jamie asked to relinquish his powers as personal curator for reasons of personal health.
Then, last March, Britney asked Jodi to stay in the role on a on a permanent basis. It should be noted … when court documents were filed in Britney’s Guardianship case, the singer also asked Jamie to resign from his post permanently.
Our sources related to the case told us at the time that Jamie had no objection to the change. But, that was then and it is now… when there is tension between Jamie and Jodi, to say the least.
As we reported … Jamie blow up Jodi following Britney’s claims, he took away her freedom and even her right to marry. He says if there’s anyone to blame … it’s Jodi.
Jodi didn’t wait long to respond to Jamie’s finger… saying that Britney’s desire to marry and have a baby was never affected by the guardianship while Jodi was the person’s curator.
Jodi is adamant she has always been there to honor Britney’s wishes and look after her best interests.
