Sam ingham, the lawyer who represented Britney spears in his term of trusteeship, resigns … TMZ has learned.
We’re told Ingham – who replaced Britney for 13 years – will file legal documents today … asking to be removed as Britney’s duty counsel.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that Ingham is extremely upset by Britney’s statement in court … that she never knew she could end the guardianship. We are told that Ingham regularly gave Britney options, including asking for the end of the guardianship, but she never wanted to unplug.
Our sources say Britney spoke to Ingham about the removal Jamie, but she never wanted to end the guardianship. We are told the last straw was when Britney told Judge Ingham never told her what he was legally required to do… namely inform her of his options.
We are told that Ingham will not go into the details of his case, due to lawyer / client confidentiality.
Ingham will follow Larry rudolph, Britney’s longtime manager, who resigned on Monday, saying he was told Britney was withdraw from the stage, so there was no reason to remain his manager. Britney accused Rudolph of forcing her to accomplish during the 2018 European tour, but as we reported we were told there had been a number of communications, including text messages at the time, in which Britney was “begging” to do the tour.
Our sources say there will also be more resignations this week. We’re also told at the next court hearing later this month that members of the Guardianship Team will present the judge with evidence challenging many of the things Britney said in court.
As you know Britney says guardianship has everything but ruined his life.
