Britney Spears‘ ex-husband Jason Alexander made continuous attempts to contact the singer in person and showed up armed with a knife at her wedding… according to the cops.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office filed an emergency protective order against Jason Alexander after the man showed up uninvited at Britney’s home on Thursday. The doc reads, in part, “(He) continually encroached on his property. Alexander repeatedly advised not to be welcome.”
Cops say Alexander was armed with a knife when he crashed the wedding and made his way inside Britney’s Los Angeles home.
The order states that Jason must stay at least 100 yards away from Sam and Britney as well as his house.
Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengarttells TMZ, “I want to thank Sergeant Cyrus Zadeh, Detective Ken Michaelson and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office for their quick and efficient work and I look forward to working with law enforcement to ensure that Alexander be aggressively prosecuted and hopefully convicted. It was an outrageous security breach, which I am livid about, but luckily Britney is safe and she was a beautiful, happy bride.”
As we reported, Alexander went live on social media as he entered her property before heading upstairs to her. Fortunately, Alexander was unable to come into direct contact with Britney during the incident. He was arrested for trespassing, vandalism and assault.
