Britney Spears‘It’s all finally over, sources directly briefed tell TMZ, but we’ve learned there’s a delay in its release and it’s all tied to…. SUPPLY SHORTAGE!
Sources close to Britney tell us…she recently completed the flat memoir, which is set to be published by Simon & Schuster. We are told Britney and co. are aiming for a January release date – but there’s a paper shortage that has upended the plan.
Also…our sources say there is no specific date as to when the shortage will be resolved…therefore, there is no firm release date.
A report from Publishers Weekly earlier this year pointed to a few major factors in the shortage – more people started ordering books during the pandemic, which reduced the supply of paper. There’s more – people quit their jobs in the paper mills, causing a continued labor shortage.
As we reported… Britney’s tell-all deal, she signed in February scored him a $15 million advance. The deal was one of the most important for a memoir, behind the Obamas – who signed with Penguin Random House for over $60 million.
Of course, Britney’s book will contain a lot of material – from her days as a child star, to finding fame and falling out with his family during his supervision.

TMZ broke the story, a Los Angeles judge ruled earlier this week that Britney will NOT have to sit down for a deposition in her guardianship case with his father … a decision JamieLawyers plan to appeal.
