Britney Spears‘ wish has come true she is a married woman, once again – and despite the wild efforts of an ex-husband – her marriage to Sam Asghari went off without a hitch.
The bride wore a white Versace gown (as expected) with a long, flowing veil, her fiancé swooped in a black Versace tuxedo…as they said their “I Dos” in a short, sweet ceremony in front of around 100 guests famous and some family members.
Brit and Sam did it right…the ceremony – held under a sumptuous tent on the property of their Thousand Oaks home – was the perfect 10 minutes. The same guy who officiated Paris Hiltonit is wedding few months ago — Reverend Clint Hufft — did the honors Thursday night.
And then it was time to party with people like Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Donatella Versace, William and, of course, Paris… which played a key role during the festivities. In fact, she took the mic and asked Britney to join her as they sang Paris’ banger, “Stars Are Blind.”
Also present…Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengartwho helped release her from her guardianship.
As for the traditions… the bride and groom chose to pass on most of these things. As you know, Britney’s mother, sister and father weren’t there. No one gave up on her and they didn’t do a first dance.
If you’re looking for lore…well, Britney and Madonna shared a kiss – bringing everyone back to their iconic VMAs moment. Selena joined them at one point, dancing to “Toxic.”
Brit made several dress changes – rocking red and black mini dresses and a two-tone dress later in the evening, and she wore jewelry designed by Stephanie Gottliebincluding a $100,000 27-carat heart-shaped diamond tennis necklace.
A strange family moment… as we told you, Britney’s brother, bryanwas supposed to attend — he and a date we all dressed up shortly before the wedding — but he ended up not showing up for the big night.
We guess Britney was unfazed, as the party continued.
She and Sam left the ceremony at 10:15 p.m. in the white Rolls-Royce with the red interior that they’ve been driving most of this week — and, yes, they made the “Just Married” sign, too.
The blushing bride hid her face from photographers as they left, but Sam looked damn proud in a black t-shirt with “Britney & Sam” lettering.
The lovebirds met in 2016 when Sam was booked for Britney’s “Slumber Party” music video, and they’ve been fine…with Sam ever since. ask the question in September.

Cut to 9 months later, and they pulled off a successful and spectacular night…especially considering all the mayhem that transpired just hours before Brit walked down the aisle.
As TMZ first reported, her first ex-husband, Jason Alexander – who she was married to for 55 hours in 2004 – visited the property, the house and even the wedding tent before security takes him down until the cops arrive to arrest him.
Alexander was convicted of trespassing, vandalism and assault. He remains in custody on an outstanding warrant for grand larceny in Napa County.
Despite his frantic efforts to run around his house, Alexander never approached Britney or Sam – and their dream wedding appeared to be a huge success… for them and their guests.
