Despite Michael Irvinof all efforts to keep the peace – bar patrons got involved in a wild brawl near the Texas Hall of Famer again on Monday… and the crazy scene was captured in video obtained by TMZ Sports.
The altercation happened around 10 p.m. at the Knockout Sports Bar near Dallas – shortly after Irvin arrived in town after filming ESPN’s “First Take” in New York earlier in the day.
We’ve been told the former Dallas Cowboys superstar was playing pool with a friend near the bar – when a man in a teal T-shirt walked up to try and take a picture with The Playmaker.
Witnesses say the man playing with Irvin, however, told the guy to scramble – which put the dude in teal.
You can see in the video, the man seemed to have a huge problem with Irvin’s friend…but the ex-receiver eventually stepped in to calm everyone down.
Footage shows Irvin even hugged the guy in the teal in order to avoid a smash. But, we’re told, the guy kept pressing — and eventually, it led to an all-out brawl.
The man swung Irvin’s friend a few times, appearing to repeatedly connect with his jaw. The bouncers ran, but the melee appeared to continue.
Finally, some of the fighters left the bar, restoring order to the scene.
It should be noted that Irvin was in no way involved in the fight – he was on the other side of the restaurant chatting with a waiter. We are told that he left the room a few minutes after the fight ended.
We contacted the cops, but they said they had not been called to the scene and were not investigating.
Irvin, meanwhile, has yet to publicly comment on the incident.
