The organizers of this year’s murderer Astroworld Fest promoted the show with footage from 2 years ago, expressing the fact that things could get crazy… and people could get hurt.
Check out this promotional video which was posted earlier this year in May and posted by the official Astroworld Fest Instagram account – which shows a number of news clips and civilian clips from 2019 put together … demonstrating the chaos that unfolded before this year’s show, including the fact that some people were trampled trying to enter.
The video seems to build on the idea that Astroworld Fest was seen as dangerous / potentially treacherous, embracing that identity… almost as if they were inviting people to come back with that specifically in mind. You can even interpret this as a … enter if you dare to type something.
At the end of the video, they tease the dates of this year’s concert. BTW, this is the same video Travis himself posted to his Twitter account shortly after Astroworld Fest ended in 2019 … when he was accused of encouraging wild behavior.
He wrote at the time: “THANKS TO ALL WHO RAGED !!!!”
This repackaged video used to promote this year’s event has reportedly been removed from the official Astroworld Fest YouTube page and other pages, but is still available on their IG account.
At first glance… this video is quite damning in that it highlights the apparent inherent danger that lies in attending Astroworld Fest – and rather than trying to walk away from it… it would appear that people be involved in setting up the concert ensemble encouraged round 2.
Evidenced by the 8 deaths and dozens of other injuries that occurred on Friday night – not to mention several video clips that appear to show onlookers trying to voice their concerns about people passing out and dying … but who are mostly ignored and drowned. outside.
There are also videos which show that Travis himself was at least somewhat aware of people falling into distress while he was playing – apparently recognize an ambulance golf cart that made its way through the crowd, as well as take note of someone who had fainted in front of him. While he alerted to the aid of the latter … TS continued the show.
After the fact, Travis described how devastated he was… sending his condolences to the deceased’s family members and promising to work with the authorities. He also denied knowing the gravity of things as it all unfolded – saying he just didn’t realize people were dying there. This was also picked up by Kylie Jenner.
Travis took to Instagram to share his sadness over the event… stressing once again that he was going to be working with Houston PD.
Speaking of the police … a criminal investigation has been opened into this matter, as it appears that at least one person may have had a needle injected.
Meanwhile, on the civil side of things, lawsuits are starting to pour in … and Travis has already been named as a defendant.
