Amber Heard says she has a lot of mixed feelings about Johnny Depp after the trial, but one of those feelings is apparently love…even after all the nasty back and forth.
The latest clip from the actress’ reunion with “Today” aired on Wednesday, and a range of topics were covered… including where her ex is at heart. According to Amber, JD is still near and dear, to some extent — despite the fact that he sued her and won $8.35 million.

Savannah Guthrie references Amber’s own words about Johnny — a statement in which she says she still has love for him — and asks if that’s true today. AH says yes.
Amber was also asked if she felt like Johnny had succeeded in ruining her overall – as he once hinted at via text – and she said yes, going on to say that she felt like ‘He could sue her if she wasn’t careful.

At some point in the complete maintenanceAmber is asked about her credibility – including her $7 million pledge to the ACLU, which she didn’t finish — and while she notes she shouldn’t have done this to be believed, AH acknowledges that it could have played a role in the jury’s decision against her. As Savannah notes, the trial was all about character and reliability.
The entire interview will air on “Dateline NBC” this week in what the network says is unaired additional footage regarding evidence Amber should have made in the case.
