Amanda Bynes denies posting an alleged nude photo of her in a bathtub… she says she’s not the one in the photo, nor the person who runs the Twitter account that put it up.
Amanda tells TMZ that she never takes nude photos like the one circulating the internet claiming to be her, and that she never had a connection to the Twitter page where she first appeared.
Amanda’s lawyer, Tamar Arminaktells TMZ … Amanda is NOT the nude woman in the photo posted to Twitter this week, and AB’s legal team has been trying for years to have the account in question taken down by Twitter, to no avail.
His lawyer says Twitter has refused repeated requests to deactivate the account, which uses the handle @PersianLa27, and says Twitter’s refusal is based on their position that the account is a celebrity parody page.
Amanda’s attorneys tell us they even tried to use his former guardianship as a catalyst for Twitter to suppress the attack…but the Bird app didn’t budge.
And, get this… Amanda’s attorney tells us, “There’s nothing funny about what she was going through in terms of mental health and the fact that Twitter thought it was appropriate to keep an account. parody making fun of what she was going through is disgusting.”
