Aaron Rodgers says he does NOT have a “COVID toe” … and he proved it by showing his big foot to a group of media members who interviewed him on Wednesday.
According to the Wall Street newspaper, the Green Bay Packers star had contracted the side effect of the coronavirus on his foot after being diagnosed with COVID earlier this month.
The report claimed Rodgers suffered from lesions and discoloration on his foot, resulting in immense pain in his toe.
But, Rodgers criticized that report on Wednesday – saying it was all BS… explaining he was only dealing with a broken finger.
Aaron then lifted his foot to show that there were no purple bruises or scabs in sight.
“I can’t believe I have to come back here and talk about my medical information, but yeah, I have a fractured toe,” Rodgers said. “I have never heard of ‘COVID Toe’ before. I have no injuries to my feet.”
“It’s just a classic case of disinformation. It’s surprising coming from what was once a famous journalistic institution, but this is the world we live in today.”
Rodgers – who was forced out of the Green Bay game against Kansas City on Nov. 7 as he battled COVID – played despite the weekend’s injury … but the Packers lost to the Vikings, 34- 31.
