What’s Good Memphis / Facebook
A mini-golf resort was inundated with hundreds of kids after a massive deposit from parents, who then started to wreak havoc when they couldn’t get their money back … so let’s say the cops, anyway.
It happened Saturday night at the Putt-Putt Fun Center in Memphis, where police responded to call for service after chaos erupted after several different parents left more than 300 to 400 children at the facility, who began to destroy the seal.
Staff told cops the large number of people put them in violation of local COVID-19 regulations, but that was the least of their concerns based on this video.
One of the teens tore the plexiglass at the front desk and threw it at the workers, then threw more objects … which helped spark a stampede and more destruction. There was even a fireworks display that was set off – just pure chaos, really.
Cops say witnesses told them the girl in the shit in the video was fed up because she couldn’t get a refund. Internet users who say they are there claim that some of the Putt-Putt Center gaming machines were faulty and taking people’s money … without playing time.
It seems that when this girl was given the cold shoulder, she just lost it. When the cops arrived, they gave him a subpoena for disorderly conduct. Staff had to clean up the mess left after everyone left.
Just another day in ‘rona’s life, right?
