FIFA has just made official the 11 US cities that will host World Cup matches in 2026… dropping a list that includes Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta and even Kansas City.
The Football Association made the announcement on Thursday… unveiling the 16 zones in which the tournament will be played for their first-ever 48-team tranche (there were previously 32 teams).
60 of the matches – quarter-finals and semi-finals – will be played in the United States in 11 cities.

Of course, the two largest cities in the United States – Los Angeles and New York – were selected … along with Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle.
KC Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was publicized that the World Cup chose its city… saying: ‘Let’s show them why Arrowhead is the loudest stadium in the world!’
The event will also hit Canada and Mexico – each hosting 10 matches – and they will be played in Toronto, Vancouver, Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey.
It will be the first time in FIFA history that three different countries will host the matches… and the first time in the United States since 1994.
