[2021 List] Online Kombucha Brands That Have Delivery In Klang Valley

Kombucha is made by brewing tea with sugar and SCOBY, which stands for Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast. It has been praised as a probiotic that helps digestion and strengthens the immune system, among other things.

Due to the fermentation process, kombucha may contain traces of alcohol, but never exceeds 0.5%.

According to Malaysian regulations, any drink containing less than 2% alcohol is classified as a non-alcoholic drink. To dispel the doubts of Muslim customers, some brands have also obtained their Halal certification.

Seeing that the fermented beverage boom has not abated, we sought out Malaysian brewers who deliver across the Klang Valley. In this non-exhaustive list, we cover 8 of which we could find enough information.

It would be nice to see more kombucha brands have glass bottle recycling initiatives like Wild Kombucha and Wonderbrew, as repeat customers would end up getting the whole collection.

In the long run, this could be cost effective for customers and for the brand itself.

Wonderbrew and Zenboocha’s methods of giving raw material waste a second life are also good measures to encourage more environmentally friendly production processes, which would better attract certain customer segments.
